In-depth study and implementation of the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee to discuss and plan SUMEC high-quality development
On December 2, SUMEC organized a 2025 operation roundtable meeting to thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, implement the requirements of the Plenary Session of the SINOMACH Party Committee, summarize and review the company’s work throughout 2025, and carefully discuss and plan high-quality development in 2026 and the “15th Five-Year Plan”. Company leaders, responsible comrades from various business companies and functional departments attended the meeting.
Wang Jian, deputy secretary of the company’s party committee and general manager, presided over the meeting and delivered a speech.
The meeting pointed out that since this year, SUMEC has adhered to the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, fully implemented the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the 20th Plenary Session of the Party, thoroughly implemented the decisions and arrangements of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, and under the correct leadership of SINOMACH, it has given full play to the “three role”, strive to be the “three vanguards”, serve the national strategy, fulfill the responsibilities of central enterprises, focus on core businesses, core markets, and core customers to make precise efforts, solidly improve the “eight forces”, further enhance core functions, further improve core competitiveness, and achieve new results in high-quality development.
The meeting emphasized that we must firmly follow the national strategy, strengthen top-level design, and fulfill the responsibilities of central enterprises; we must firmly focus on key areas, pool superior resources, and win the market; we must firmly practice the “five certainties”, enhance value creation capabilities, and continuously enhance core competitiveness; we must firmly Improve risk prevention and control capabilities and firmly adhere to the red line of compliance and safety; we must firmly consolidate organizational guarantees and continue to build a team of high-quality cadres and talents; we must firmly lead party building in development, give full play to the role of the company’s party committee in guiding direction, managing the overall situation, and ensuring implementation, and plan subsequent actions to clarify the direction forward.
During the meeting, company leaders Wang Jian, Chen Feng, Xin Zhonghua, Shi Lei, Hu Haijing, and Wang Shentao conducted exchanges around the “Five Certainties” special work of dual-cycle development, green development, technological innovation, digital transformation, and brand building. The heads of each business company combined the current situation analysis and the drafting of the “15th Five-Year Plan” to report on the business development of each company and key measures for the next stage. The heads of the Operations Management Department and the Strategic Investment Department made special reports on the company’s overall operating situation and application analysis of the business classification management model.
