This edition of DOMOTEX Hannover expanded its exhibit scope for the first time to cover sectors such as coatings, acoustic panels and outdoor flooring materials, with a core focus on two key themes: sustainable development and digital applications. This fully reflects the latest demand trends in the European market. Currently, the European flooring market is characterized by structural differentiation: demand for rigid flooring materials remains stable, and there is strong demand for integrated, low-noise, wear-resistant and easy-to-maintain solutions in commercial and public spaces. Meanwhile, green compliance has become a core market access threshold. Driven by both policy and market forces, the penetration rate of low-emission, recyclable and renewable materials is on a steady rise. This market environment, shaped by demand upgrading and stricter compliance requirements, offers differentiated competitive opportunities for foreign enterprises equipped with both environmental performance and technological strength.

At the exhibition venue, the sales team of SUMEC-ITC provided enthusiastic reception to European purchasers and industry partners with their professional expertise and precise services. Through in-depth communication, the team accurately identified the core pain points of European buyers: as the EU continues to upgrade its emission regulations and trade compliance inspections, purchasers attach great importance to the completeness of product certifications and supply chain stability when selecting suppliers, while digital construction adaptability has also become a key consideration factor. In response to these needs, the sales team highlighted the promotion of high eco-friendly grade products such as homogeneous through-colour flooring and anti-static flooring.

In the meantime, the team participated in technical exchange activities at the Innovation Zone, focusing on cutting-edge trends such as AI-enabled construction planning applications and low-carbon material innovation, which further clarified the direction of technological upgrading in the European market. Centering on the capacity optimization and local layout needs faced by Chinese enterprises going global, the team discussed supply chain collaboration plans with a number of overseas partners, accumulating valuable experience for further exploring the European market in the follow-up.

Looking ahead, SUMEC-ITC will continue to steadfastly advance its “Blue Ocean Strategy”, closely track the compliance policies and consumption trends of the European flooring market, and deeply integrate into the global industrial chain upgrading process. The company will focus on optimizing its product mix in the directions of low-carbonization, functionalization and digitalization, continuously strengthen its environmental certification and technological R&D capabilities to enhance core product competitiveness. Meanwhile, it will increase channel layout and investment in Europe and surrounding markets, providing high-quality flooring solutions to support the construction of green building spaces worldwide.
