They strengthen coordination between upstream and downstream enterprises as well as micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in the industry chain, guiding wood enterprises to upgrade equipment, optimize technology, improve production efficiency, enhance product quality and accelerate transformation pace.

This initiative extends the industrial chain, elevates the value chain and integrates the supply chain, driving Linyi’s wood processing industry to accelerate its transformation and upgrading toward green development, intelligent manufacturing, high-end positioning and brand building, and advancing the long-term vision of building Linyi into a national production base for Chinese wooden integrated decoration materials.

Wood panels account for 80% of Linyi’s total wood industry output, covering varieties such as plywood, particle board and fiberboard. In 2024, Linyi had over 1,000 plywood enterprises, accounting for 70% of the city’s above-scale wood enterprises. Its annual production capacity reached 42.7 million cubic meters, accounting for 79.7% of Shandong Province’s total and 19.3% of China’s national total.
